About Our President

Steven J. Davis

Born in Ohio, having been influenced by his grandfather, a coal miner from West Virginia turned State Park Manager in Ohio, Steven took to the outdoors.

For over 35 years, Steven J. Davis has been in the green industry.

He began his career in south Florida climbing and cutting new right of way.

Steven then moved on to residential tree and shrub care in the Atlanta market. Working his way up the ranks, he became District Manager and worked there until returning to his first love, Utility Line Clearance. He managed Line Clearance crews and vegetation management in 25 states across the Southeast and Midwest. He has also worked for utilities, railroads, golf courses, resorts and high end residential and commercial clients for 35 years.

Davis Environment was created with one goal in mind:

"Create an employee owned company that stands on integrity and standards that will allow all employees to be proud of every decision they make."

Steven has a desire to leave a legacy of allowing others to be passionate about the outdoors, the ability to succeed and work in their Environment for years to come.

Steven has been a Certified Arborist in good standing since 1994. His experience and passion will help you have a strong resource when it comes to your Tree and Vegetation management needs.
